Linux agent

Install, sign in, and verify a PulseHA Linux endpoint.

Install and sign in#

curl -fsSL https://get.pulseha.com/install-agent.sh | sudo bash
pulsectl login

Complete the device-code flow in a browser. Updates arrive through the supported distribution package manager.

Verify operation#

  1. Open Network → Devices.
  2. Confirm the device is not Pending, Blocked, Archived, or Revoked.
  3. Check connection and posture freshness.
  4. Test a service that an access policy grants.

An online agent does not imply application access: the service, deliberate subject and gateway scopes, posture enforcement, and gateway firewall still apply.

Troubleshooting#

If login does not produce a URL and code, retry pulsectl login and check outbound connectivity. If the device is online but the app fails, run Policy simulation and inspect Audit.
