Start guide
Connect a device, publish an application, and grant first access.
This path produces a working private-application connection.
Before you start#
You need a Console account and a Linux host that can reach the application.
Set up access#
- In Overview, choose Add gateway. Run the generated command on the Linux host and wait for Connected.
- Choose Add device. On Linux, install and run
pulsectl login. On macOS, install PulseHA and complete browser authentication from the app. - In Network → Services, add the application address, protocol, port, and serving gateway.
- In Network → Access, add an Allow policy. Deliberately choose All or Selected for subjects and gateways, and select at least one service.
- Reconnect or wait for device configuration, then test the application.
iOS and Android agents are coming soon. Gateway enrollment is Linux-only.
Expected result#
The device is online, the gateway is connected, and the application works without exposing unrelated network ranges. If it fails, use Policy simulation, then inspect Audit.
