Orbit

Configure PulseHA public egress regions and placement.

Orbit provides public egress points of presence. It does not replace a private gateway beside an internal application.

Enable Orbit#

  1. Open Network → Orbit → Settings.
  2. Enable Orbit and choose allowed regions, or leave regions open to eligible locations.
  3. Save, then create an egress policy that permits or prefers Orbit.
  4. Optionally add Orbit Routing rules for subject and source-country placement.

The overview distinguishes opted-in and available regions. If live region status is unavailable, do not infer availability from a previously rendered map.

A routing target outside the organization’s allowed regions is ineffective. Update the rule or allowed regions. Some lab tenants have read-only Orbit configuration.

Private application traffic still needs a private gateway, published service, and access policy.
